Collin, Ryan, and Austin Gill

Frères Branchiaux Candle Co. is a home fragrance company based in the Washington, DC Metro area created and managed by 3 brothers, Collin (14), Ryan (12), and Austin Gill (9).  In October 2017, the young Gill brothers wanted more allowance to purchase video games.  Mama and Dad Gill told them that they had maxed out their toy allowance and to either “get a job or start a business” if they wanted more money.  They decided to start a business.  Mama Gill attended a candle-making workshop and then took those skills home and taught the brothers.  After a few weeks of fragrant trial and error, the brothers finally figured out the best scent, wax, and wick combinations to create candles that would inspire and delight others.  

As well as earning money, they donate 10% of their profits to homeless shelters nationwide.

Using soy and coconut wax, the Gill brothers design scent experiences that are unique and one of a kind.  The candles are hand poured in small batches, hand packaged, and curated with care in the Frères Branchiaux warehouse.  The brothers have also added accessories such as room sprays, diffusers, bath salts, candle snuffers, and wick cutters.
